The Hotel was nice, rooms a bit smaller than expected. They are doing some indoor construction but I never heard it. There was kind of a closed up odor almost like a too much moisture when opening the door to the room . Towels and sheets were clean, AC worked well. Breakfast was standard, and staff was friendly! We’d consider staying again.

Great lodge! Lots of super cool historical pieces. The lodge staff was fantastic, very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice, very spacious, though the coffee and food wasn’t anything to write home about. The staff and history absolutely made it worth the trip!

Lovely accommodations however, they changed our key code after the first nights stay and then it wouldn’t work. We came in late and couldn’t get into our room. No one would answer the 1-800 number. If the restaurant staff had not still been cleaning the restaurant after 10:00pm I don’t know what we would have done. There is no one there to help you if there is a problem or if you need a master key! And their number proved to be useless. Was thankful for the restaurant staff for all of their help in trying to get someone to help us get in. The restaurant is also very expensive to eat at. My husband and I shared a pasta and we both drank water. So three entrees, a kids meal and appetizer was a$170.00 after tip. Can’t afford to eat there but there isn’t much else around. Pool was great and property is always clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Nice place for the money.
